How does this driver relax when he goes home?
Well, sometimes...

How are you feeling?

Probably manic. I figured out at least two things that are wrong with me before the doctors I have been seeing. Gotta call the doctor in a couple of hours to make a new appt and gotta call a bunch of others and tell them they totally missed this major component for the last 25 years.
Are we having fun yet?

There is nothing more irritating than trying to explain to someone your own awareness of your body, and the signals of caution that it is sending you, just to be disregarded.
You would think that living in the same body year after year should grant some kind of merit.
Anyways, let's hope that they pay attention this time!

I-10 westbound view of the eastern side of Lake Pontchartrain en route to New Orleans. A meal of boudin, crawfish balls, and shrimp rolls.

Yum. You got to get some BBQ when you are driving around here and Tex-Mex.

On I-10 a good place to stop for Kolaches is in Ellinger called Hruskas (lots of people from Bohemia, Moravia, etc moved there.( You can't miss it because it is right on the road and they lower the speed-limit there, suspiciously. Good burgers also.

There are a ton of churches in Louisville, more per capita than any other place that I have been to. I used to go to Louisville often when I lived in Lexington.

I guess there's lots to pray about there...

There is a saloon on I-10 in Louisiana, right around exit 8 that I'll stop by when I can.
Poker. Strip clubs. Rodeo out back. Nice!

The next time that I deliver down by your place - if I have the time - YOU will decide where I eat.
A midnight in the Diner Special!

Not really a museum but it's nice to get in there and look around.

Yum.  :) All looks well there now.

If you are traveling through TX or FL, please snap any pictures of remaining damage or other oddities that suggest something catastrophic had happened earlier. We always see the damage right after the storms but seldom a year or more out.
