Nice lady, very fit and friendly. Real estate agent, 41, very successful. As tall as my X (6'1) We spent about 90 minutes of the 3.5 hours talking about the slowly bursting housing bubble up here. Based on what she had to say boy am I glad that I didn't buy the weird house with the toolbox island in the kitchen for 600K. We'll definitely be seeing each other again even though I am not really sure if I want to eventually bang her. That may sound a little immature to say but it is something to consider. 

Could see her as a really good friend, but time will tell. Lady friends are great to have. Sometimes a movie and a martini are all one needs.

If she finds out about RBR it'll be over before it starts no matter what it could be if anything. That said, she really likes me.  Like who doesn't. !

Thanks but too late.  In November, 2024 we lost the flock.  I had protected the run and coop from things like fox or coyote but didn't count on the feral Great Dane from hell.  So turned the thing into a mini Fort Knox and rebuilt the flock back up to 1 Rooster and 14 hens.  In December, 2025 lost them all again.  On top of the run I had chicken wire to keep the hawks and the falcons out but didn't think a Husky could some how climb or jump and get on top of the run. It managed to do it, blew through the chicken wire and killed them all.  Exhausting!  Taking a bird break for awhile.

Holy Cousin Of Moses!   That's nuts!   I got angry just reading that --- I have a lot of questions but it's not my thread.  I mean, there has to be some accountability somewhere at some point. That is just crazy.

Yeah.  Sucks.  It is a big problem out here.  Folks will get a large breed and as the pup turns into an adult will realize they can't handle it.  Then they take it out to the country and dump it.  We've had three dog/chicken incidents - dog catcher couldn't find the Great Dane but rumor is a guy back behind us shot it after it went after his goats.  Second was some sort of large white mutt.  Held him for the dog catcher and found out it found a home in a town about 20 miles away.  It didn't get into the run so no loss there.  Husky is still on the loose - if the dog catcher finds it, I'd imagine it would get snapped up pretty quickly - beautiful animals.

Got chicken fatigue for now.  Going to plant berries in the run in the Spring - birds won't be able to get at them.

That's part of it.  Better know what you are getting into and know what you are doing with a Husky.  Plus circumstances can change - if you got laid off or had your hours cut it might be rough keeping a Great Dane fed.  However, the answer is not driving out inna woods and just leaving the animal.  That is inexcusable and despicable.
