I need to replace the tubes in a secondhand H&K Tubemeister 18.  I don’t play metal, mainly stuff like Rush for fun.  It takes 2 12xA7 in the preamp and two EL84 in the power section.  Any suggestions on what and where to buy?  This is my first tube amp.

I would use Tung-Sol for both unless you find the amp already overly bright then I would switch to Electro-Harmonix for the EL84.

Overrated stage show.

HATE! Rick Santers!!  I have that LIVE IN Halifax DVD and they pull the silly lookin' fuck out a few times during that show! He looked like Mitt Romney with a mullet.

@ShayP  More than a "Couple" of good songs and the FACT that Rick Emmet is one of the ONLY vocalists in that genre who could and STILL can outdo his studio performances LIVE makes that element of the band even more impressive.

And Bart is right! That Mike Levine thinking that it's socially acceptable to walk walk around looking like the lion from the Wizard Of Oz is a hate crime of that should be rock n roll legend.

I hated that scene from Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.  @KSM32  Creeped me out man!  Anyway, the CTM show with Rik is 2 hours and 11 minutes long.  Rik comes on near the 51-52 minute mark.  You know JBW has to do his 'thing' beforehand.  After Rik comes on, he stays until the end.  Not a lot of backstory about Triumph though.  Damn good interview regardless.  He does talk about some projects the bandmates became involved in, personal philosophy, music theory, his stint as a professor, etc.  I didn't know much about him but he seems like an ultra-chill dude.  I also didn't realize he is a guitar virtuoso.  I knew he was good but...wow.
