Here's a hall I did.. my work is immense.

Would have looked better if you centered the planks instead of starting with a full plank on the right side.

Maybe used the whole plank against the hallway wall instead of the trim at the bannister thingamajigs.

There you go talking out of your ass again. There was a great room on one side and a large dining room on the other. Greater things beyond what you see in a hallway picture. You have a discussion with the customer on all these things before you begin a job. For example you do not want a 1" row at the back of the house that was in this case longer than the length of the hallway! This particular hallway ended up with a full plank on one side along the 4' banister. 4 feet vs 14 ft 20ish rows later..

Think big picture. Think beyond the picture.

Seattle: No. I will not be allowed to work for at least 10 months as I will be my wife's "dependent" on her L1 visa. I will be an L2.  This will make me a house husband. I will however make 15% for one year off the top of whatever my guys up here do before I hand it over to them.

After that I don't know..  basket weaving?

Dude, just get your EAD and then once you're settled down you can travel to Pittsburgh.  Upon arrival you will install quality flooring in my mancave.  Straight cash hommie!!! *You do quality work.  Then we will get shitfaced and raise hell.  I'm not kidding either.  Might need bail money.  I have a buddy who's with Capital One and I think he can transfer his frequent flyer miles.  Anyway, it's just a fantasy at this moment in time.

There are some great trolls out there. Some are famous, like Ken M and some are not - like our own Open Lines Gerry.  Who is your favorite troll? For a long time my favorite was Mr. Oinkers over on 4chan but I think my new fav is Paranormal Davey whose target is the hapless, ever needy, Gene Steinberg.

Apparently over twitter he told Steinberg he had left a large sum at a McDonald's for him to find. Had Steinberg going to different McNasty's all over town, digging thru ball pits in the play area, searching for a cash wad that was not there.

Sent flowers a rental office lady after Steinberg doxxed her.

Pretended to be a son of a long lost Steinberg acquaintance who really wanted to help. Steinberg said that about 20,000 would do and posted his bank account info on Twitter instead of by DM. 20,000 Vietnamese Dong were faithfully deposited.

Offered to buy Steinberg's Tech podcast as Leo Bumgarner. Steinberg was instructed to instructed to contact Bumgarner's strip club at 2AM and ask for "Big Daddy Bum Bum".  More than once. Eventually the deal was struck and Steinberg ended up going to a Walmart Western Union to pick up the funds but sadly they had never heard of Bumgarner.
