Why did you keep Cubase a secret for so long?

Because I did not want everyone to know how easy it is to spend a Sunday recording a 35 track Heart cover for a Japanese auto company.

I've had a few cracks at SGs but always put my money into other stuff... Now's the time to put something together and give it to a kid after I don't touch it after 6 months.

Safe risk?  They're Canadians. It's mahogany. Three humbuckers. They'll probably will be replaced with direct mount JB, 59 and an esoteric/odd middle pickup, maybe a Peter Green flip.  Series/parallel push-pull switching...

No @KSM, No mini humbuckers, no P-90s, no Strat pickups... Although a Tele bridge in the middle might be interesting, hahaha! It's this or a Firebird kit... I love me big slabs of mahogany.

I did not know about them. I might have to take a look!

CUBASE is still around? I think I have a version from 05 or something like that.

Practicing for Carnival? You’re a regular party PB. I’m a little surprised, not gonna lie…

It was just a joke, those people are really annoying and give the rest of us a bad name.

What do you use, @KSM?  Do you think he uses Garage Band @Bart Ell?

I believe he uses a digital multitrack mixer/recorder.

Their stuff is pretty good. I pop into their showroom every few months to see what they have. I have bought 5-6 of their kits and each one was decent if you intend to swap out much of the hardware. I have 2 Mockingbirds from them that I like more than the original one I have.

Yay!  Thanks for the feedback.  I feel more comfortable... Sold.

@Bart Ell This is recent - Is there another option other than soundcloud? The loss of audio quality when uploaded is stunning. Did you once say that everything MP3 is converted to 120?

You are better off slapping a picture on it and uploading to YouTube.
Soundcloud HQ is 320 but they charge you $10 a month for it.

Why didn't you tell me Cubase will see AND PLAY my hardware Kurzweil and Yamaha synthesizers? K2500X, TX-81A and TG-77 come out of the closet and back into the rack. @TigerLily should be happy - the 90s live again.

The 90's were a great decade. I remember hearing "Black Hole Sun" for the first time.  I remember being able to vote for the first time. I remember losing my virginity. I remember Art Bell was on the radio almost every night

Musically, it was the 1960s for me, but favorite decade-wise, I really enjoyed being a kid in the 1950s.

TL is just trying to sound like she's young by saying she loved the 90's and its horrific music. LOST HER INNOCENCE in the 90s? I mean come-on!! She's puttin' one over on us.

Started out great then shit the bed and then around 1995 my Forrest Gump years began.
Overall it was a magical decade so yes, I would agree.
