All the Cowboy haters all over the country are laughing their asses off.

What a dumb way to end a game and lose.

Fourteen penalties for Dallas.  I was channel surfing and every time I checked the game, the Cowboys looked like crap.  Jerry can’t be happy.

Last time the 49ers had a playoff game at Lambeau, Colin Kapernik had 98 yards on 7 carries.  Plus a few more (188) passing...

I'm predicting a Steelers victory over the Chiefs.  Not because I'm a Yinzer fanboy, but it's simply a gut feeling.  Steelers 27 Chiefs 24

I think I'm going to have to eat crow on this one.  :P

What a lovely day of football. The Niners about gave me a heart attack. It seems like the Chiefs were just resting up all season for the playoffs. I did feel a little sorry for Ben. I couldn't believe those jerkoffs who booed him. He's not my favorite person either but show some class. I dearly love football

I would have thought so too @ShayP . The Chiefs were pretty lackluster this season. But then today ... Bam!

So @PB. I know you live in their environs but were you actually rooting for the Niners?

Then you would have felt sorry for Ty Cobb, I'm guessing.

Fuck Ben with a vibrating porcupine.  He is a tactless, selfish, belligerent dickhead.  Not everyone deserves a loving sendoff.  The NFL will be better without him.

Whoa there Mr. Muscle. Didn't mean to send you into a hamster hissy fit. I was commenting out of ignorance. I could tell those "Bye Ben" signs were made by the tv staff. And there certainly wasn't a lot of hugging and kissing going on from his fellow colleagues. I was just going by his on field history not knowing anything about his personal shenanigans. If he beat dogs or women he shouldn't have been playing without some sort of rehabbing just because he had talent. So I could have been wrong. It happens on rare occasions
The only thing I know about Ty Cobb he was a baseball guy and his "custodians" played hockey with his frozen head

Yes, when I moved here I immediately dumped the Seahawks and jumped on the Montana/Rice/Walsh/Lott Super Bowl bandwagon.  I hate the Cowboys as much as anyone.

I don't watch the games anymore, but I still follow the teams.

I kind of hate the Seahawks. I had a love/hate thing with the Chargers that eventually turned into hate/hate. Though I'm tentatively giving them a second chance. Why does everyone hate the Cowboys?

I hate every team that moves away from the fans.

... Why does everyone hate the Cowboys?

I ''hated'' them because most years they were the team SF had to beat to get back to the Super Bowl - and that didn't always happen.  Here are some reasons others hate them.

The 49ers had been lousy most of their existence.  In the 1970s they finally had some good teams but the Cowboys beat them in the 1970 and 1971 NFC Championship Game, and the 1972 Divisional Playoff.  The 49ers fans started hating them intensely then.

The Cowboys were in the NFC East, with Washington, NY, and Philadelphia for years, and those fans are some of the most intense.  They all hate the Cowboys because Dallas usually won the division every year.

The Cowboys, with straight arrow Roger Staubach, Tom Landry, they were media darlings and referred to as ''America's Team''.  There was always a perceived Texas arrogance that seemed to manifest in the Cowboys.  (Same with the Texas Longhorns, probably the same group of fans).  In every neighborhood in the country, there were always a few punk ass kids who chose to be Cowboys fans simply because they won, and they all loved to talk about it.  That never went over well.  It was all too much.

Then there's the AFC teams they beat in the Super Bowl.  And other NFC teams they've beaten in the playoffs over the years...

No one ever hated the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders though.  None of it rubbed off on them.

I kind of hate the Seahawks...

I bought a TV for my room so I could watch the Seahawks when they first came into the league (my father hated sports and wouldn't let us watch games on Sunday afternoon).

They were fun as hell to watch, being an expansion team, they gamboled a lot and always had a bunch of trick plays.  Then they became ordinary, I moved here...

I quit paying attention to them, but when they got that cheater from USC, with all his dirty play and players, I went from not caring to them being one of the teams I hate.  Their jackass fans aren't helping.
