Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks died of chest trauma from an errant fireworks mortar blast in what authorities described Monday as a tragic accident at a Michigan home on the Fourth of July.

I am disappointment. However I am not surprised. I am thankful for following the Habs. I got the chance to learn so much more about the good, the bad and the ugly. I have some new heroes. Carey Price made so many amazing stops to keep the Habs in the game. Ducharme has no shame. Either do I. Go Habs Go!

I was sure Duncan Keith would retire as a Blackhawk. He waived his no trade clause and will be playing for Edmonton. This is a pretty good article.

I got to see him play in two games. One in Chicago. One in St Louis. Real classy athlete.
