Okay, I'm binging on random music.  Most from my youth.  I bring to you Megadeth.  There always was a comparison to Metallica due to Dave Mustaine's involvement in the band's early days.  Regardless, if I had to choose one or the other, I would choose Megadeth.  WAKE UP DEAD!
