Got a bit choked up when they started playing chess. Andy Fletcher, their keyboardist who died, was a chess hustler. A nice little tribute.

Okay, I was actually thinking of this video a couple of days ago when I spent way too much on the presale tix. Like, I've done festivals for the price.  But there are three bands that I always see when they come to town: The Cure, DM, KMFDM. They're good memories bands and music that I would plan and save to be able to scrape together the cash to see back in the day that I have continued to enjoy throughout the decades.

On a lighter note, Keith Richards is the second ugliest guitarist in music... Martin Gore wins.

I've heard more of the new album. Love the textures and tones a lot.

One that comes to mind was from the Judas Priest song, You've Got Another Thing Comin'

Proper first line = One life, I'm gonna live it up!

The version I sang until corrected = Whatta life, I'm gonna live it up.  Now this is a small transgression on my part IMO.

Here's one from a guy who I replaced. While auditioning for the band I found his pile of papers/lyrics that he left behind. From AC/DCs SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES where it says.. "Then a guy with a chip on his shoulder said, don't touch buddy she's mine"  His version "Don't stop punishing man" We all had a laugh and I got the gig. LaLaLa-La
