The first season of Ray Donovan is available for free on Roku. Everything else after that is subscription...

Humm. Sopranos search next.

That too, all subscription...
Watch the first season and then subscribe. Or, send me a thumb drive with a return envelope. I'll hook you up with MP4 seasons.

See how fuckin' nice I am?

Did Denver make you a softie?
😁

I will seriously consider that.  OK... I'll try season 1.

I started watching a show called "Old Enough" on Netflix. Japanese television at its finest.
Eh, nevermind...

Sooo...

Ray Donovan...

I'm taking this with a grain of Star Trek: The Next Generation.  So far, three episodes in (you mentioned it started to work for you after three episodes, right @KSM?) where the character development was clumsy.

So far, Elliott Gould is showing himself to be a bad actor. Poor script writing aside, he's stiff. Community theater stiff.

I saw the first episode on Amazon prime, now I have to go over to Roku Channel with bad commercials.

I just thought of this analogy...

It's like a band of young kids playing the blues and they never heard Sonny Boy Williamson or John Lee Hooker or BB King. Kind of an empty vibe.

Something else, the prop master made a lot of errors. License plates were out of sequence; much older plates on much newer cars. Plus, on post production, impossible definition on a zoomed in photo, etc...
Eh, nevermind...

Accurate:

https://twitter.com/GathererSkull/status/1662099522997174272

I knew a guy that appeared on Lost. His family had money (they owned a Toyota dealership near Los Angeles), so he could afford to go to Hawaii with remedial acting skills at best. They hired a lot of locals! Kind of like Breaking Bad😁

I didn't see Lost, but I did see the same production team's ABC series called Once Upon a Time... I watched it with my kids and it was bearable for the first few seasons, then it got absurd. A mother of one of my kids' friends said that it was going south like Lost went... Enough said.
Eh, nevermind...

Look, we can find flaws in virtually every movie and or TV series. The question is; are we going to deny ourselves and quiver about semantics or are we going to LIVE!! I want LIFE!!

Just fuckin watch the show, Sean!

I try! What's worse, I was going on to episode 4 and my free trial that I just started is not working. Same device, I was using my smart tv, it may just be a cookie issue.

I did watch a couple of episodes of something I've seen before, Ricky Gervais and his show "Derek." Gervais seems like a really loyal dude or maybe he's just extremely paranoid and doesn't trust outsiders. He uses a lot of the same people between different shows.
Eh, nevermind...

Ok, if you continue watching I will be curious to hear what you think about ending the series after season 4 or not.

No... Not yet...  I'll deal with the free trial problems in the coming week.

Lulz

I just wish you were trying harder. I feel like I'm the only one putting any effort into this. This does not bode well for us being alcoholic neighbors in a run down trailer park on the outskirts of Billings about 12 years from now.

Been watching Beef - very well written and acted. Hard to find a likeable character because...well. There aren't any.
