I'm sure all our lives are looking a little different lately. Mine is being filled with "on-line learning" for the kid to finish out the school year. Yay! So much fun for everyone!!!

I was trying to explain to the Husband that our kid is very goal oriented, ie he doesn't want to read all the directions for a task, as soon as he thinks he has figured out what the end game is he stops reading and moves to check the task off. I'm struggling a bit getting him to slow down and realize sometimes it's the process that's important and also that he might miss key info if he assumes every direction follows the same pattern. Husband says "Tell him the Van Halen/M&M story, but change the band name to AC/DC so he knows who you're talking about."

Me: "WTF are you talking about?"
TL;DR
1. My kid has no idea who Van Halen is
2. Read the fucking contract
