Hello. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. An early "Merry Christmas" to you all. It's been a bit of a rough year. I lost a very dear colleague in the spring. She was one of those people you value when down in the trenches of difficult work. One of the finest people I ever knew. My brother-in-law passed in June, way too young to die at 53. Three weeks later my mom passed. I travelled back to MT and spent a week with her in the hospital before she passed. Even though I used vacation time and bereavement leave, I lost my job shortly after coming home. I'm nearing retirement age (10 years I hope) and I have NEVER been let go or laid off in my life. Loyalty in the workplace is long gone it seems. Yeah, it's been a bit of a bitch. BUT, life moves on. I went back to a previous employer and am settling in just fine. I get a couple days off over Christmas and in reflecting on the past, I told my wife I'd like to revisit some childhood memories and watch a few classic Christmas movies. A Christmas Story, It's a Beautiful Life, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. I was curious about how others viewed Charlie Brown Christmas and was on YT when I found this:
WARNING: Adult themes and language, DO NOT WATCH AT WORK
WARNING: Maybe DON'T watch this if you hold Charlie Brown Christmas dear
Do watch it if you like to be slightly amused and shocked!
