Red or white?
Free-flowing bar, good wines (I am told, I'm a sake fan myself and of course they had none, no surprise there!), quality booze, high-end restaurant catering. Beautiful atmosphere, but the high quality of the refreshments made it easier for some to just get sloshed and say things they might not have otherwise.
The blessing and the curse of sticking to club soda with lime as a designated driver is that you clearly remember what other people did and did not say.
