Well, this is a fine howdy-do! We are on the far fringes of the tropical storm going through the Gulf Coast states and the panhandle of Florida. Lots of low, long, rolling thunder, the kind that makes the hairs on the back of your head stand up. Now lots of lightning too. Expecting lots of storms, rain, winds through tomorrow evening. And to top it off, we just got a tornado watch alert which expires at noon Saturday.
Ok, I can deal with the storms, thunder, lightning, winds, keeping the doggies calm... but tornado watches make me very nervous. I think we are likely in the clear, they said they might issue one but they were unlikely where we are, but I don't like that the watch has been issued at all. Given this, I'm going offline and to sleep now.
Please send some good vibes that it's just a storm and nothing damaging and nothing more, much appreciated.
Goodnight, all!
