If you respect Art and his family, You should have supported your friend who reported heather to Art's wife. Your friend did the right thing. If Heather really cared for and more importantly respected Art and his family, she shouldn't have done what she did. Heather has been known to use Art as a crutch. I do think that she should stop using Art as a crutch and do a good show(s). She should stop trying to an Art Bell and just be herself. Its time for her to leave the nest. If anything she should do what George Norry has done with C2Cam and he made C2Cam his show and not do a photocopy of a host like Art. Noory for better or worst made C2Cam his show and not used Art as a crutch. I remember when Heather was one of the co-hosts of the gabcast from the old country (bellgab). When she was just being herself, she was good as a podcaster because she was not trying to be someone who she wasn't.

"Heather derangement syndrome" (HDS) is a pejorative term, usually for criticism or negative reactions to former Radio Host Heather Wade On the Kingdom of NYE. Listeners that are perceived to be irrational and to have little regard towards Heather's actual Radio Talent and Success, or actions undertaken by her NYE Radio Show. These listeners usually behave like babies and hate women in power. Most of them are old, nasty men who just wanted Art Bell to hire a male host. Many people with HDS should look for a Psychotherapist in their area.

Generally when someone dies, their prop goes to the family. Art's family even Art's personal FB page. Art's widow should have control of Art's page. Heather does own the Art Bell legacy but she should honor his legacy if she really did or still respect his legacy. In of the day Heather should have just let Art's FB page alone and based her work on her own merits. Art Bell has been dead for about 6 years now. Heather most likely put some fresh salt on the wounds on Art's family with his death. Now the best thing for Heather to do is some damage control. She admit her mistake on air and just do a better job as a host.
