It’s currently illegal for any dining to be open that cannot take place outside. Also, bars that don’t serve food are shut. The State has been going after places that are not complying. It seems like it’s always in small towns. This is the latest example:

This rather poorly engineered flu is just as much an attack on fun and lifestyle as it is health. Even more so.  Fuck, that is horrible!

To a lesser much lesser degree - but yes. Understand, we're 1/10th the population of the US so with the exception of a few very large cities we are fairly spread oot out. There are small business's that are going under as well as those that closed doors during the 1st wave. Keep in mind that it all varies from province/state to province. I can't speak to what it's like in say Ontario with any degree of accuracy but it is worse than where I am out west.

But more to your question, where I am, we went out for dinner last Friday night and we have dinner reservations for this coming Friday evening. We'll enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and dinner. Pretty much normal life other than having to wear a mask while walking into the eatery and removing it as I approach our table. Tables are of course spaced out for distancing.
