I was at a hospital ER a few weeks ago. When the person I was with went back to the patient care area, I was able to go too. Last week, same ER did not allow me to go back to the patient care area. I had to wait outside. I asked about it and was told by the nurse that there had been a surge in cases so they had more restrictions. She told me they knew what the cause is, but were not permitted to tell anyone what it was.
Ok. How crazy is that? Hospitals are SUPPOSED to keep you informed and teach people things. I asked why she couldn't tell and she said it was because of HIPAA. I said that if she did not disclose any patient identifiers, there would be no HIPAA violation. She said that all she could tell me was to stay out of crowds.
What do you think of this?

Could just be a dummy nurse and another one would have given you a different answer.
She could be part of a group that spread it and didn't want to be a snitch.
She could have been at the end of an eighteen hour shift and was tired of explaining.
Could be a shit hospital.
Could be a portal.
Could be aliens.

In California, not far from Oregon. I spoke to my doctor the other day and he said he has had only a handful of patients get the virus. They all did fine, only one died. That person had a number of health issues and was a sickly person. All of his patients who got the virus were age 70 and above.
What we can't know though is how many people in the surge had the shot. Many of people who take the shot then end up testing positive. So as more people get the shot, the case numbers can rise. If that is the cause, then no big deal because it is people who are "fully vaccinated", right?

Oh! Spoke to my sister-in-law today. She has friends who got the virus. All were fine except one who was getting worse and worse. It was looking like she would need to be hospitalized. She got Hydroxychloroquine and "something else" which my sister-in-law could not remember the name of, but happily her friend was much better a day after taking those medications. No deaths!

Covid, A, B - whatever.
My doc has lots and lots of patients, his main point for me was that not all that many of them all even got sick. I shouldn't have left that out, sorry.
