You gotta put a ring on it.

Smart thinking.
Put a ring on it and ask her to kiss the ring.
1919 blowies took some work, I dig.

“Who are you?”

Well that is a funny comment. I wonder who was the artist that came up with these two characters. The female appears wearing some unusual outfits. The males appears surprised.
 I enjoy these clippings.

He might be an accountant following her around collecting receipts.

That happens to you too?
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

To kiss, or not to kiss, that is the question.  You be the judge.  10 points if you are right.

Kiss

I remember a little while ago, I was shocked when Mrs. T said, NO KISSING. But at this point for Alice, the cat's out of the bag. The horse has run out of the barn. The train has left the station

So yes, kiss. But feel guilty about it. That makes it more fun

Don't all husbands follow their wives around collecting receipts?

I think Mrs. Thompson might say kissing is ok but don't go further until you are engaged or married. 1919... not that everyone observed these conventions...

Just you and mine possibly. But I'm not willing to put a wager on it.

After two years?  Yes, a kiss should be acceptable, even back then. :-*

(After two years I'd think she'd be asking Mrs. Thompson whether it was too soon to accept an engagement ring, but what do I know?  That was back in my Mom's day and she was only 6 years old at the time).  ;) ;D

I'm kind of surprised that everyone missed this one.  Only Sugarplum Lily came close to noting what Mrs. T. had said earlier about kissing.  Still, 10 times two is twenty, and that's how much tomorrow's quiz will be worth.
