I'm not really built for 20s fashion, but bring it on! I'm ready!
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Forget about that Lucy name.
Word on the street is that Rikki dislikes like the Redheads. :'(

Lost film (fragments exist, including the only known color footage of Clara Bow)

                               What Will Mrs. Thompson Say?

Should Nancy run away?  A correct yes or no will land you five points.  Also, if you would like to heap some advise on the troubled girl, have at it.  Mrs. Thompson has a number of things to say to her, some of which are surprisingly touching.  Additional five points for any advise that comes close to Mrs. T's.
Do not run away from your home. Look at the good in your life. You have 2 adults caring for you. Be respectful to your aunts. Talk to your aunts about the good things your mother did before she died. Talk to people who loved your mother and her red hair.
Go to school or find a job.  Do not be mean to other people.  You say people don’t like you because of your hair color. Your perception is incorrect. To make friend you have to nice to people. I know a woman AKA “Fish” (who has red hair) who has many friends. You will make friends if you change your attitude. Fifteen years old is young, you have a lot to learn about making friends.
You just found out that your mother was not nice. Do not listen to any gossip about anyone, living or dead.
RIP Nancy’s mother.
PS/ @Mr Apnea has some good advice about worshiping Odin and Thor.

Thank you, @Rikki Gins and Mrs. Thompson, for all the entertainment and information. May this continue another 100 years. Merry Christmas! 🎄

No, do not run away, that would not solve anything.

You are still young. You have two good aunts who care for you. Never take anyone else's opinion of you over what you know to be true about yourself in your heart. You are a good person, regardless of what anyone might say about what your mother was like. You were too little when she died to remember her well, so don't let anyone else's opinions change what you might feel about her. Saying you are bad because you have red hair like she did is ridiculous, it is ignorant and not true. The color of your hair does not determine your temperament.

Take pride in yourself, get a job, go out and meet people who will accept you as you are, and you will feel much better about yourself. I am sure you will be appreciated by people who meet you as you are now, and not as part of your gossiped-about family history, which may or may not be true. At least your mother gave birth to you, I am sure she loved you very much. Pay no attention to anyone else, but carve your own path and know you have a good future ahead of you!

Howdy! I just tried to upload my new avatar for the coming new year about 10 times until I realized I forgot to resize the photo and was trying to upload a HUGE avatar. Not smart!  ;D

Good! I'm not too late

No, sweetie, don't run away

You are not your mother. You are your own person and can decide who you want to be. You know what it feels like to be pre-judged and dismissed and excluded. So become an example by treating people the way you would like to be treated. Be kind. Smile. Help someone in need. Work on your education and try to better yourself. Expect respect

New avatars post-Christmas, we're keeping up with the times, at least in the 100 years-ago thread!  ;D

It is the way.

Your look is perfect for the new decade @PolkaDot . 2020 or 1920. Catherine Zeta has a real flash of mischief and intelligence in those eyes. I'm sure you share those traits with her
