What Will Mrs. Thompson Say?

Should Nancy run away? A correct yes or no will land you five points. Also, if you would like to heap some advise on the troubled girl, have at it. Mrs. Thompson has a number of things to say to her, some of which are surprisingly touching. Additional five points for any advise that comes close to Mrs. T's.
No, do not run away, that would not solve anything.
You are still young. You have two good aunts who care for you. Never take anyone else's opinion of you over what you know to be true about yourself in your heart. You are a good person, regardless of what anyone might say about what your mother was like. You were too little when she died to remember her well, so don't let anyone else's opinions change what you might feel about her. Saying you are bad because you have red hair like she did is ridiculous, it is ignorant and not true. The color of your hair does not determine your temperament.
Take pride in yourself, get a job, go out and meet people who will accept you as you are, and you will feel much better about yourself. I am sure you will be appreciated by people who meet you as you are now, and not as part of your gossiped-about family history, which may or may not be true. At least your mother gave birth to you, I am sure she loved you very much. Pay no attention to anyone else, but carve your own path and know you have a good future ahead of you!
