@anniem Annie, my given name is Lance. Please don't ever call me, Lionel.
@Aquarius That is awesome. My Grampa had me into trains at about seven. Your description sounds like what he had going on in his basement. I think it was on a tournament size ping pong table. Trains! I might put hardboiled eggs in one of the roofless coal cars so that it looks like they're hauling Pterodactyl eggs

I've all but given up on transporting giraffes.
I'm going this route

Wow, cool! There is a local restaurant near me that used to be a railroad depot in the 1920's, and in honor of that they have a train just like that going all around the place on a track suspended from the ceiling. It's really fun to hear and see it go by while you're eating, it's not noisy or annoying, but I love it!
I was trying to recall more while at dinner tonight. I seem to remember we had some small people figures, and maybe a street lamp or two that lit up? And I used to put something in the open cargo car, but I don't remember what. I think we had a locomotive, two or three cars, and a caboose. In later years, we may have added one or two more cars or more accessories, but still it wasn't fancy... but it was a LOT of fun!
Really, enjoy! +1
