This year they should just give it to the Flyers
Thanks @GravitySucks  ;)
After hockey, I like to listen to baseball on the RADIO. All is well in the world if you can hear a baseball game on live on the air. Today, the Phillies home opener was scheduled. Tonight I will eat hot dogs and popcorn for dinner in honor of baseball.

Laughing 😝 no beer and peanuts? I eat 1-2 hotdogs a year. It’s ONLY at baseball games and it’s preferably a Chicago Dog. I wonder if I’ll make my quota this year...
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Oh wait. Did you think I meant give them the Stanley Cup?

Are we having fun yet?

You are correct, beer, peanuts and ICE cream. I don't want no stinkin' Chicago Dog @PolkaDot;)
Tonight I will sit in my small back yard and listen to old game with Harry Kalas.

My fists are up to the BAT SOUP FLU and TO those drunki freeloading kids.

The regular NHL season began on October 2, 2019, and was originally scheduled to end on April 4, 2020. The 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs would have originally began a few days afterwards...like this week.  :'(
@Bart Ell as you work on the BART ELL RESURRECTION (April 14th) maybe one of your guest could play some playoff ICE hockey?

It must have taken a couple of weeks to come up with “tied for the 10th toughest remaining schedule”.
Are we having fun yet?

@Bart Ell
The Flyers are tied with the Bruins.  Fist of Hate to the BRUINS!

Flyers will have home-ice advantage in the first round against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins had a slightly easier schedule than the Flyers. @ShayP  ;)
The Flyers will also have a few of their key players back from injury if the season does resume in any capacity. James van Riemsdyk is nearing the end of his timetable to recover from a broken finger, and Philippe Myers should be recovered from his fractured patella on his right kneeHere is what Fletcher said when asked about concerns regarding players being more susceptible to injuries that are more common earlier in the season:

THANKS FOR CHEERING ME UP Monsieur BART.
It is a good day. 1st this great read and my ORANGE Clockvine plants just arrived. Yeah, I grow ORANGE flowers in my backyard.

PS/ @GravitySucks are you still a baseball fan?

@FISH somewhat. Since 11/2/2016 there has really not been anything for me to look forward to.

I have one rule change recommendation to help make things interesting.

Model it a bit like hockey overtime. If a game goes extra innings, only 7 players may take the field, and the ones that don’t are scratched from the lineup.  This would increase the chances of runs being scored and cut down the average number of extra innings.

How has Jake Arrietta been doing?

I never liked the Phillies growing up. I was really glad when the Cubs got Larry Bowa and Ryne Sandberg though. I really enjoyed watching Ryne Sandberg play.
Are we having fun yet?

All our Philly teams are disliked. I never take it as a personal attack. In fact, I enjoy the SPITE.  :)
My 2nd favorite sportscaster passed over in 2009, I stopped listening to the ball games on the RADIO. Harry Kalas was the man!

CONGRATULATIONS @GravitySucks  ;)

@ShayP . Philly and Pittsburg have a long history together.
The Philadelphia Quakers were an American professional ice hockey team that played only one full season in the National Hockey League (NHL), 1930–31, at the Philadelphia Arena in Philadelphia. They were the successors of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
