@ShayP . Philly and Pittsburg have a long history together.
The Philadelphia Quakers were an American professional ice hockey team that played only one full season in the National Hockey League (NHL), 1930–31, at the Philadelphia Arena in Philadelphia. They were the successors of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

They quit playing hockey to play baseball?
Are we having fun yet?

Interesting video.  I always thought the Seals became the Rockies.  :-\   I do not remember the Kansas City Scouts at all.  Granted I was just a kid when they played, but I thought I knew hockey more and more as I grew older.  Ya learn something new every day.  :D

I hate Philly.  Yes @KSM they have "Crosby Envy."  I also want to say that I hate Philly.  Regarding Gritty...I thought he was a clever, fun, mascot when he first debuted.  No.  I was wrong.  He should be doused with kerosene, set adrift on the Schuylkill river, while the shores are lined with baboons (Philly fans) armed with Roman candles firing them off randomly in his direction.

In addition, I hate Philly.

*Disclaimer ~ ShayP isn't usually like this, however a mood strikes me on occasion.  I beg your pardon fellow Ellgabbers.
@ShayP  I told one of my hockey loving brothers about you. Well not you but that I am on a NHL thread. And you accused me of having "Crosby Envy." My brother gave me a hint on how to piss off someone from Pittsburg. You just drop the H. He had to work with a company that was in Pittsburgh. He was surprised that he was so disliked because he was from Philly. In return, he learned how to return the hate dislike.  :)

Now now. @FISH As you can see in that post, it was my response to KSM's suspicion, and my belief, that there is "Crosby envy."  There was no accusation but it could be assumed since I label Flyers fans as one collective.  That lead me into a minor rant about Gritty and Philly...in jest mind you.  I would never hate anyone because they were from Philly or anywhere else for that matter.  I'm sorry your bro had to deal with that.  Trust me, I got shit from people after I moved down here because I'm from Pittsburgh.  I just keep the irrational dislike of the Flyers burning.  That old cross-state rivalry ya know.   :D

Well played on leaving the H out.  ;)  If I was in the 'Burgh and worked with your bro I'm sure we'd get along fine, except for the occasional heated shit talking.  Now I want an Iron City beer.  I do love the stuff.

I look forward to a robust 'give and take' once hockey season resumes, and even before and while we wait. :)

Cheers!  8)

RIP Colby Cave, 25.
Emily Cave and other family members were unable to visit Cave in the hospital over the past few days because of COVID-19 rules.  :'(

CHEERS @ShayP .
Philly and Pittsburgh live for the across the state dislike. Many years ago, while being lost and broke in Jersey, we purchased 2 quarts of Iron City Beer. As we tried to find our way back home, we shared our Iron City Beer--no cups. We made up songs for commercials for this beer. Any time I see Iron City Beer, I have fond memories of being lost in Jersey with only a dollar or two in my pockets singing songs about Iron City beer.
One thing my family taught me is to find humor in the worst of times. I think you were taught the same skill.

@FISH  "...being lost and broke in Jersey..."  :o  Sounds like the title of a movie. :D  Kinda like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.  I love it.  I'd appreciate it even more if you would share the lyrics you came up with. ;D  Singing songs about Iron City beer.  LOL!

Yes, finding humor in the worst of times is important.  Sometimes I find humor at inopportune times though and it can be awkward.  Nonetheless it keeps me sane.  As sane a I can be.  ;)

The City of Philadelphia does not like the term sanctuary city City of Brotherly Love.
The city’s liberal leaders prefer the term “Welcoming City.”  ::)

As hard as I once tried ;) @FISH after reading that you're a hard lady not to like.  I once misplaced my passport for three hours while in NJ and the feeling of being Stuck in Jersey as I became broke was a particular level of hell.   Love visiting, don't want to be stuck there.
@KSM32
Thanks for the backhanded compliment.
People up your way have Sasquatch. In Philly we are afraid of the Jersey Devil. I think that the Jersey Devil is more adorable than Sasquatch.
