Flyers trounce the Pens 7-2.  Funny how Malkin returns and the chemistry is off.  He's off.  Granted he had a month long injury but he still is doing the same stuff before that...and none of that was good.  They lacked effort and that's why they will lose in the 1st round of the playoffs.

I've always been a Geno fan but it's time to let him go back to Russia.  I don't think he wants to be here anymore.  He has a full no trade clause and he has no value unless he plays well, which he hasn't this year.

All the Yinzers were talking Stanley Cup when the Pens got hot.  Not me.

Oh well.

If I was you I would be so excited about the Playoffs. Pittsburgh has gone to the playoffs for 15 years. What happened to your love of the GAME?
Last night, WE enjoyed the win. We have watched every game…every stinkin' game. Who is we? During the game, I texted with two other guys. We love the game of ice hockey. YES, I will watch the PLAYOFFs. We have a terrible sense of humor.  We are not babies.
Oh well.

So, you were texting with two other guys.  Was one of them Gritty and some random dude on Tinder?  ;D  I will admit that my love of the game has waned and I believe I stated that way back in this thread.  I don't hate it though.  For some reason it's hard for me to maintain my interest.  The playoffs excite me but I already know what's going to happen.  Pens out in the first round.  The chemistry will be ruined and Sullivan will tinker around with the lines like he always does.

Playoff hockey is the best playoffs of any major sport.  I'll stand by that statement.  I bet you'd agree.  ;)

Family relatives. I grew up in a hockey loving family.  These 2 guys are STILL playing ice hockey, in a way.  Philly has a ton of virus rules. However, if you are brave enough you may go to the ghetto -- to ice skate. Get your skates sharpen for FREE. Scanlon Ice Rink welcomes everyone, even adults.
I only follow NHL playoffs.

Thrown out of the game? @FISH  I guess you didn't see Crosby get his head subtly slammed to the ice once his helmet came off?  ::)  I'm glad Crosby did what he did.

From what I've read, Friedman was disliked by some of the Flyers because he had an attitude problem while he was with the team.  I'm guessing that's why Gostisbehere crosschecked him into the boards and then in a different incident Friedman dropped the gloves with Joel Farabee. 

Aside from all that, why is the league allowing Tom Wilson to get away with his bullshit?  Why does Gostisbehere have a hearing with the league's Department of Player Safety but Wilson got away with acting like a psycho against the Rangers?  He didn't have a hearing.

I will again express my intense hatred for Tom Wilson.  Human filth.  He acts like a tough guy but runs away when someone like a Ryan Reaves goes after him.  Speaking of Reaves, it still bugs me that the Penguins paid a high price to get him, didn't utilize him like they should (screw Mike Sullivan), and then traded him for nothing.
