Around here sportstalk radio mostly covers the Warriors and 49ers, and Giants during beisbol season.  The Sharks and As are mostly ignored, let alone anything else.

Today one of them was talking about his first hockey game, and how much better it was in person instead of TV.  The other one chimed in and said the ice covering took away from the bright colors on the floor, and because of that he liked it better on TV.  He had no idea when he said it what the reaction would be.

The ice covering took away from the bright colors on the floor?  Yeah, I'm a hockey fan and that would be my biggest pet peeve.  ::)  Hockey is awesome in person.

I can't believe the NHL Skill competition was top of the charts on cable in the Demos on Friday night 1.085M (0.40) That presentation was hard to watch and hockey always had a personality problem. Is the actual NHL All star game the worst of all Allstar games? I guess it's not for me, but I honestly had to tap out after half way through a period

Brad Marchand is also human filth.  Not on the level of Tom Wilson though.

Marchand sucker punched Jarry then hits him in the face with his stick as he's leaving the ice.  Of course the Penguins have nobody willing to pummel him.

This game is really cooking along. I should be day drinking in celebration. But alas, caffeine will have to do.

Wow. 3-2 halfway through the first period.

But when she was bad she was horrid.

Campbell is injured so they do need a goalie...

Two things:
1) Fuck Biebs and his sweaters- though the one looks like a pot leaf that's had a bad day but still has a smiley face. So, I guess there's that.
2) I'm irritated with the Nucks right now. I know I should be blaming the Avs, but alas.
