it is early. Nonetheless these guys have to figure it out sooner than later. The Pens just lost their 5th straight blowing a 3 goal lead to the Bruins.
What pains me regarding the Pens is they have a veteran core and 2, maybe 3, hall of famers on the roster and they are playing like shit overall. Crosby is still Crosby. Works his tail off, but something is off. I don't know. It seems they don't adapt. They try to play fast but they're not. The definition of insanity..."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
The window is closing on this team but not all hope is lost. Because it's still early.
