This cross check seems to be getting a lot of play and discussion in sports talk. The attacker Morgan Rielly  got a 5-game suspension

For me I never understood "unwritten codes" for umm reasons that goes on in sports, especially stuff that's considered taunting or hotdogging it. If you are a high paying professional having your feeling hurt by a taunt or even running up a score shouldn't be a thing. The Leafs should be more triggered for losing to a second last place team  in your conference than the guy bending the net a little bit on an open net situation. As for the suspension I would give 5 for the hit and another 5 for being a suck.

@Walks_At_Night Not that you're following but my Canuckleheads have lost their last two games. Those damn Winnipeg Jets and the lowly Minnasota Wimps who beat them 10-7!

They were Number 1! in the league only a week ago.

They have been #1 for quite some time.  Kind of refreshing - if it is not the Wings like to see dominance spread around some as long as it ain't Toronto.
I believe the prevailing view is that it is better to hit a rough spot now then at season's end. They should be fine.

@KSM They're still number one in the league Numbnuts. Don't be such a fair weather spectator. It's hard to sustain for such a long season...you should be hoping they get the droops out of their system before playoffs.
