Since being held up in these rooms I've come up with a dandy hard rock gem of a song but one thing has disturbed me throughout and I'm talking about the actual riff that I have built the song around. Something was bothering me in the back of my mind and then it hit me.. sounds like a STP riff (sex type thing) not exactly but riff inspired perhaps. EVEN THOUGH I NEVER, EVER, LIKED STP! I have managed to make myself feel better by reminding myself about a riff I had pre stone temple that is similar to said stp song. So maybe they, somehow, borrowed from me!? Well, of course not but the riffs are out there and sometimes lines get blurred..  I am happy with my song and can't wait to get going on it after I'm all set up in my new digs.

Now this is Tell that does not require a response as it is more of a venting of sorts.

PS  This means that I will have to seriously bush up on my drumming skills. Nothing worse than the obvious sound of a non drummer trying to sound natural.

"Interstate Love Song" got me through a break up. And a tough final exam. He moves to Seattle and first song he writes is a STP knockoff. Going to extremes to win my heart

He requested some fancy add-on that needs special coding to work and the rest has to wait until the code ninjas get around to it.
You could also just wait about 10 hours and you will change your opinion on it anyway.

While we're in the TELL thread; I had to chase after Vera today to stop her from peeing on the lawn across the street. Before I jolted into action I placed my phone on my wife's back bumper. I forgot about it. She went out for Christmas gifts for her company party tonight. my phone is gone. Forever lost. Children are weeping and dying.
We are the first, along with another couple on out new street. The people who bought the place across where V almost pissed have not moved in yet but I cannot have her peeing all over the place. Urinary anarchy will not be tolerated, and I am a good neighbor.

Moving truck arrives within an hour. Took them three full work days to load it two weeks ago. I bet they're out of here within five hours of their arrival. Or at least that is what I am trying to convince myself of.
