I am really going to put in the effort to be a great neighbour. I was before, at the river place, but not in town.  Everybody's yards are in pristine condition as are their houses coz everything is brand new. A garage in WA state is sloped for water drain purposes.

THAT WHAT FUCKING ROOFS ARE FOR!! TO KEEP, THE RAIN WATER, OUT OF THE GARAGE!!!!!!   So now I spend 3k plus to level it out - or literally build a deck in my garage for my gym. Can't do SQUATS ON A HILL, BART!!  Fucking idiots!  Snowed 8" today and they can't drive in it so the whole town will be shut down tomorrow.  I am the only one with snow shovels on my street. My drive and walk are pristine.  Even shoveled the sidewalk width of my house.

PS.. left the shovels out near the street for others to use and nobody took welcome advantage.

Squats on a hill are good for stretching the achilles tendon.  I would not like a sloped garage, but could it be to keep water from pooling in there by coming under the garage door?  The reason we don't drive over snow in WA/OR is because there is ice under it within hours.  Other areas don't have to deal with that.  Are you in Western WA or Eastern?
