@sean92008  Yeah, Felix was shot by his wife with the gun he bought for her own protection.  Not certain of the whole story but I think she suspected him of cheating and shot his ass.  I might be wrong. (Google-less memory test) ;)
 
I think if Leslie West was "sexy" he'd be considered a guitar god.  I'm sure you know image plays a part in everything no matter the talent.  He was talented, but he and the band weren't much to look at and lacked some flair.  I would say he is up there in the ranks of at least 'diety.'
