An old pal of The Bart with something I think @ShayP may enjoy.
@KSM may recognize his '86 Lado

Yup. Recognized, but might not have if you hadn't pointed it out.  Had to run that through my system - LOUD. I haven't done a search so I'll just ask, is that from an album or is it just a single? I need some new stuff in my main play list and that would certainly have a place.

God, I love vocals. Must get some recording done.

I did enjoy that. @Bart Ell  So much so that I just listened to an old interview with Patrick Gagliardi that I found on Metal Express Radio.  I like the Dirty Vegas song too.  Yeah, I like this band.  Never heard of them before but now I'm in the know.  Thanks and cheers!  8)

@KSM
Full album.
First song on it sounds like it could have been on the first Brighton Rock album.

Oh my.  They did come to rock. @Bart Ell   Music videos in the he 80's were something else.  The keyboard player likes to thrust!  But seriously, were these guys a big thing in Canada?  I don't recall coming across of any of their music here in the states, so I'm not sure of how wide their popularity was.

Neil Young apparently told Spotify they had to choose between him and Joe Rogan. Not sure what legal standing he has because someone pointed out he sold the rights to his collection some years back. But Spotify said fine, they would no longer play Neil Young music.

I don’t use Spotify so it was just amusing to me. But I do stream SiriusXM. My go to channel is Deep Tracks. Well I guess SiriusXM is woke. Deep Tracks has been converted for the time being to a Neil Young channel. So I switched to the 60/70s classic vinyl station and they are talking about Neil Young’s position and playing Neil Young music. Damn

There are a few good Neil Young songs but this Neil Young “tribute” is just a replay of a special they ran on Deep Tracks in December for a week. I couldn’t listen to the whole catalog then and I certainly don’t want to listen to it again.
Are we having fun yet?

He sold out years ago?  Now it all makes sense.

They pointed out half assed information, then.

Could it be that there is no coincidence that self-admitted asshole David Crosby was bandmates with this guy? 😁

There's stuff I love from him, but not enough to fill a greatest hits album. I believe it was Geffen Records that dropped him because he refused to do anything worth selling.

Cinnamon Girl only goes so far...

Neil Young has always been one of my absolute favorites.  I've probably seen him as many times as anyone, other than the Dead.  Never cared much for CSN or CSN&Y although they did have some I liked.  Too MOR I guess.  Saw Stephen Stills twice, once at the Fillmore, acoustic first set, plugged in for the second set, and also saw him at the UC Theatre in downtown Berkeley with his new band The Rides.  Both shows were fantastic.  CSN&Y and Neil Young solo both played at free Grateful Dead shows along with others in Golden Gate Park.  Never made it to any of the Bridge School benefit shows, it's a long slog going to the Shoreline Amphitheatre and lousy sound.

One of the first albums I ever bought was Decade, 3 record set of GH, I loved all those tunes.

Hard for me to criticize Neil Young, I don't know what's been going on with him for awhile now.
