We were in a taxi and the car that hit us hit the back passenger side where she was sitting. I ride in the front. The impact had her head hit the window. We were already fighting before we got in the cab and I wasn't into it anyway.  I am fine. She says she's fine but as you point out we'll see tomorrow. She did ice and IBPRFN when we got home  like 400 feet back from the crash.  Information was exchanged and all that BS. I just wish it would have been sociably acceptable to thank the cuck who hit us for getting me out of the uncomfortable party we were headed to. I know I'm fine but we'll see how she feels when she wakes up at 11:59 in time to ruin my new years eve song that I like to listen to alone.

I love ginger beer but I have never had any that had alcohol.

The idiots across the street started with fireworks early this evening. But never mind they are illegal, these are not your usual backyard firecrackers and such. These were house-shaking, dog-terrifying bomb-like professional fireworks, like the kind the county sets off at the lake near a big shopping center. Huge explosions, knocking our artwork crooked. Seriously terrifying the dogs-- cbd, music, blankets, nothing helped. This is a densely green area with dozens of old growth trees, and they were setting them off within about 15 feet of a big dense grove of pines and shrubs, etc. Just really stupid not to mention annoying. They told me to go F**k myself when I politely asked them to please stop, they were scaring our dogs and us and were not being safe.

Ok, no problem, I finally called the sheriff (which I never do) because it was beyond intolerable. I don't know if they came but they've been quiet for a while now, thank goodness.

I hope you all are having a safe, pleasant, and happy new year's eve, and that the coming year will be a much better one in every way for us all.

I've been running around taking care of everyone and making sure all the party planning for this weekend was done. Today while taking the dogs out for a run this afternoon I was literally like, "shit, what are we doing tonight!?" And I honestly decided to say fuck it. Bath tub. Champagne. Fireplace.
