My anode rod refuses to budge. 4ft breaker bar and cooling the tank down to maybe 100°.

I am a bit worried because my 2-3 month 5-gallon purge came up perfectly clear this time. No sediment. Normally, I would get blue speckles in a white granular sediment at the bottom of the bucket.

Although I've thought of liquid wrench, I don't feel confident that multiple flushes would get all of that out.

The only thing that I haven't tried is the paraffin wax melt. I am going to try icing the bolt. If I can get it to shrink up a little bit, maybe it will break free.

A 10ft breaker bar might be the key. 😁

He would've been perfect for professional wrestling back in the 80's.  I can imagine him talking smack to Roddy Piper or Dusty Rhodes.  Heck, Alex would've been a good tag-team partner with Kevin Sullivan when he was doing that weird satanic shit.  He too could be strapped to the Tree of Woa before he fought Mad Dog Buzz Sawyer..
