I watched some of it...

George Floyd was being a bit of a dick. Not surprising that this video has been suppressed.

You can go anywhere in the world and you won't see people living and acting like this.  Yet here in our ''progressive'' run big cities, there are millions of people just like this.  I don't envy the cops dealing with it all day long.

If those cops had stopped for a donut on the way to that call, Saint George Floyd would have OD’d in his driver’s seat and wouldn’t have made the obituary pages.

Watched the whole thing.  Some of those cops were big FKN dudes but that's beside the point being that it really didn't have to happen the way it did. George wasn't exactly fighting them on anything and posed very little threat to them. Surely these officers knew quite quickly that they were dealing with a rather limited intellect in George and they could've handled the matter very differently.. ?  And it's not like they didn't have the numbers on their side. I realize they, the cops deal with this sort or situation every day in bigger towns but they are also trained to realize that every situation varies and has it's own circumstances.  And they certainly weren't being swarmed by onlookers..

Floyd was fucked up on drugs, foaming at the mouth and was resisting.  According to the lawyer for Chauvin, he was restraining Floyd using a prescribed method until an ambulance or a paddy wagon arrived.

I think his defense lawyer may also have something to say about how the city embargoed the video. I don't know the rules there, but in San Diego, they release the video as soon as possible, especially when it shows the police are doing the right thing. Also of concern would be all the business owners who lost money because of the rioting. If the city New The George Floyd was creating problems, they could have released the video and lessened the rioting, thus minimize damage to their businesses.

Blue cities, blue states... Shitholes or shitholes in waiting.

That may answer the question of why none of the bystanders physically intervened.

The fact is this guy was a bum, a drug addict, almost certainly living off the rest of society his entire life, and supplementing his meager handouts with petty crimes.  No doubt all his friends are the same, starting with the other moron in the video.  Our big cities are full of people like this.  My guess is his family tired of his act long ago, at least the ones who aren't like him.  His life didn't matter to him, why should it matter to anyone else.

The cops have to be beyond tired of dealing with these idiots all day long.  Still, the cops shouldn't have killed him.

And they certainly didn't need to. That's all I'm sayin'. The video depicts a murder.  It's all the opportunistic fallout in the name of that has now..    ugh    you know

Hey everybody,

Whilst in the throws of copious amounts of yard work yesterday between two places I found myself in one of my homemade/built by hand sheds. It was then that I realized that I had been holding a pee for at least 55 minutes.  :o :o :o    This realization brought the issue front n center and gave me absolutely ZERO time to react any other way than to stand in the shed and pee right there. As I let loose the waterworks the relief wrapped me in urinary joy as I marveled at the quality of my workmanship in the structure I was standing within. The door was open and I began to admire the 36 ft deck off of the perfect lawn - also by me. I could have dropped to my knees right there as I was overwhelmed with emotion but kneeling in pee is counterproductive.

Thank you Lord for all the Manmanship talent you have afforded me.

I truly am. A real life moderator.

Peace

If those cops had stopped for a donut on the way to that call, they would have found him dead in his car from an overdose. His name wouldn’t have even made the obituary. Now the guy has been turned into a saint.  The cops didn’t kill him, but they certainly allowed him to die face down in the street.

There are charges that they should probably face, but murder isn’t one of them.

I would guess that the trials will take at least a year. Finding an impartial jury will be impossible. But by all rational legal standards they should be found not guilty of murder. And I can picture the riots that will take place in Minneapolis when and if that happens.  They shouldn’t rebuild anything in Minneapolis until after the trial.

Are we having fun yet?

I heard on either the news or maybe Armstrong and Getty that the knee on the neck move is a common procedure in Minneapolis policing when a person is being resistant while they wait for a medical team response.

If true... Combined with the partially-leaked video, this could be huge.  There could be four very rich police officers soon.

Wasn't Ian living in Minneapolis most of the years he was on Coast (the whitest city he could find to live in), and an Episcopalian minister (the whitest and snobbiest religious group he could find)?  He seemed comfortable there.

I somehow just associated the rest of Minneapolis with that - and given the politicians they elected, the aftermath there about abolishing the police, turning their neighborhoods over to homeless pukes, etc, it still seems about right.

Too bad he doesn't have a bunch of crankheads living in his backyard and a burned out liquor store next door, he could do a virtue signaling show about that.

Just had the first Pabst Blue Ribbon in a few years...  While not "beery," it's rather flavorful in a soft drink way...

Easy to drink while doing yard work.

Anything to lose weight and get my drink on!

Initially, I lost 10 to 15 pounds with the lockdown. Since then I've gained all of it back and added a few...
