Not enough people die of it. The next one needs to target perfectly healthy people between the ages of 18 and 60.
Only 6% of the 185,000 US deaths (which were projected to be 2 million) were completely free of pre-existing conditions including gunshots, traffic accidents, suicide, cancer, etc. The next Chinese virus needs to be much less discriminatory and targeted to the people in the middle. You may recall that there was a flu about a decade ago that was primarily targeting children.
