So, one of my things that I am having a problem with in sports, other than their horrible politics and social issues, is the fact that these assholes celebrate way too much. In my past, I have thrown no hitters, I have hit home runs, game winning hits, sunk a few big shots, etc...  I never acted like I fucking never had been there before. 15 years ago, I saw a Padres baseball player get hurt during a celebration and pretty much screwed their chances of getting out of the first round of the playoffs.

What in the fucking world is wrong with these fucking idiots? I get it, public schools in most Western countries are not teaching real history. Critical thinking skills and their lack of understanding that if they don't know history, in this case - of their sport, they are doomed to repeat it.

This guy deserves the problems he dumped upon himself. No fucking sympathy...

My family had Southwestern Cable...  I don't believe we got MTV until October of 1982. The reason I think that is because I came home from an all-day experience at Jack Murphy Stadium to see The Who, Loverboy and John Cougar...  Well, I missed most of John Cougar...

When I arrived home from the concert, it was pointed out to me that MTV was now on.

Since I have been watching videos on Los Angeles stations for a while, I don't recall what the first video I saw on MTV was.  I do remember a lot of stuff that I would have never heard on the radio or likely even seen the album in the store because they were pulling everything out of anywhere they could find videos. 

I do remember this one - it was a weekend binge of MTV and this song was on probably every other hour. The video looks like a different edit than what I remember...
