Saw a blurb about Spiderman, scaling great heights in London to destroy some sort of perverse statue in front of the BBC. Sounded intriguing so I gave it a little click-a-roo.  The reality was a bit underwhelming.

I too like my coffee black. Light or medium roast. Not sure why but finding light roast seems to be a bit of a task at times. At Christmas I'll add some chocolate protein powder and Irish whiskey to my brew. Top with that whip cream and chocolate sprinkles.

Not really. Hardly at all. Things were always hectic (in a good way) as there was much to do. We were always hosting and I wanted to enjoy every bit of it. Oh,  after all jolly folks had left and the house was clean and back to normal, down to my gym or studio I went with a bottle of Glenlivet 18 (my Christmas scotch) Got to bed usually about 5am 12/26.  I enjoy my own company immensely. Unless I'm a bastard and in which case I tell me to fuck off.     But I don't.. fuck off

Alot of cover bands. My latest offering was from a Foo Fighters tribute band. WTF? Are they that big?  I guess I was going to be Dave in that lineup. A couple of country bands looking for a rock guitar guy with long hair. I've jammed a few times with a bass player and drummer, but the bass player died just before Christmas. Day before ShayP in fact.

There is a beer garden that has live bands on Fridays and Saturdays. I can hear them, a band, as I type this. They just played Every Little Thing by The Police. I can sit on my patio/balcony and watch or V and I can go down there.

It's different. Especially after the life I had for 20 years previous. Bit of a kid in a candy store sort of feel to this neighborhood with all the food places and pubs. Oh, and the yoga studios    I will add that the sushi out here is sub par, not surprising.

The freshest sushi/sashimi that I have experienced in America is in Las Vegas. Second best, Los Angeles. They fly the stuff into McCarran. There's a place East of the airport you buy what's left after the restaurants get what they need for the day.
