I never watched The Beachcombers.
Seemed like an old man show to me.
This whole time I thought it took place in Nova Scotia and not B.C.


I also thought Ojai was the abbreviated version of Ohio.
Luckily I was not stalking The Bionic Woman when I was 5 or I would have gone to the wrong state.

The Beachcombers were on at the same time as Disney on Sunday nights in my house. Disney it was. I would later try to get into the re-run Beachcombers while sitting in various Canadian hotel rooms. I think I liked Relic but that was pretty much it.  Apparently the guy who played Relic had an incredible life.

I believe the old saying is "feed a cold and starve a fever" so get him a fresh pizza pie with chicken soup combined in it.  He'll be back to normal in a jiffy.

Today is the infamous Frat Beach Day.  The day before the Georgia Florida football game - which is called The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party - the college students prepare by heading to the beach and drinking themselves into oblivion.  Girls write their hotel and room number on their arms.  There is almost as much puke as alcohol. Old perverts like @Bart Ell plans to be, love to watch.  I hide inside.
