Speaking of Christmas adjacent activities- have many of you read Terry Pratchett? The kid is reading the DiscWorld series. I would expect that @Walks_At_Night has read about the Hog Father. Maybe @JUAN too?

Anyone who hasn’t I’d recommend them- so great even on a 2nd read!

I'm a Ringworld guy - I've not read any DiscWorld.  Ringworld's author, Larry Niven, I think gave one of the most awkward interviews ever on Coast to Coast.  Some year, I might have a chance to read regularly again - will check out Discworld.

The 2nd is more disturbing than the first. Who or what even is that?
It must have been fun to be a stylist for that era. The most random, weird ass shit! The hair is so bad- I mean there must have been a ton of wigs…but it’s so bad it makes me wonder if it was real hair…what’s the point of a bad wig?

Came across this by chance the other day when looking for some old WJR stuff.  A small collection of Karl Haas's Adventures in Good Music  He probably did many, many hundreds of shows over the years but I guess the family holds the rights and is not interested in releasing them.   You might find these interesting but then again you might not.

Good - glad I got it to you.  The old German was a Detroit fixture forever before branching out in syndication.  Syndication is a two edged sword - brings you guys like Art but wiped out so many, small, local shows.

A certain member of this board used to come over to my place in Denver and would always complain that I put my pictures up too high on the walls. I would lower them after she would leave. Next visit she would say they were still too high, but definitely better..  Next visit the pictures were too low.  There truly is no pleasing some women. Pictures of all things.
