Tom Seaver was one of my all time baseball favorites. Loved watching him on tv. He was just a bit older than me and being very close in age, in my younger years I always thought he was one good looking hot guy. 😉

I hated the Big Red Machine.

But I sure liked a lot of the guys on the team - Bench, Perez, Morgan...and then Tom Seaver.  He put his whole body into his pitches, his right knee would end up with dirt stain, it often scrapped the ground when he threw

Dig and drive. When I pitched in High School I had similar mechanics. Used to get a bunch of crap about my bent front leg. I get the whole plant and fulcrum thing but it never felt natural to me.

Without googling Toots, did he make a guest appearance on Reggae Sunsplash or some other movie shown on Night Flight? I know that name and I'm not confusing the name with the harmonica player Toots Thielman (also not googled).
