Both of them.  That's a lot of strong man being fought off by a skinny runt who was not high on drugs nor the subject of mind control

No kidding.  I recall staying up to till midnight to watch a local station giving a live feed of Robert's victory speech, which was nice because all of my three television channels usually went off the air at 11:00 PM.  Robert said "On to Chicago and let's win there!" then he walked away from the mic.  I turned the tv off right then and went upstairs to bed, just seconds before he was taken down.

Not surprising, Fry's is on its death bed.  Their Xmas ads are weak. Supposedly, everything they carry is on consignment.

If they're tearing down stores, more will fall. The one thing the Fry family did right was to own the properties...

About 40 years and 2.5 hours ago, I was listening to side 2 of Abbey Road...  Then my phone, along with my parents' phone started ringing off the hook.

I was listening to an FM station that would play a new album all the way through once a week.  Then the news hit and they played Beatles tunes (probably John's songs) for the rest of the program.

My favorite of his is still his remake of Hank Williams, Sr.’s “Kaw Liga”! RIP Mr. Pride, one of the real country trailblazers.

What I didn't know was that he was a Negro League player... I knew he played baseball, he just didn't seem old enough...
