His dad was transferred to Japan.  They liked the area. His son lived in his old neighborhood recently.. His sister lives about 35 minutes away from me, about five minutes from her former next door neighbor... Small world.

I wasn't around in the early to mid 80s for the music videos. My first time seeing her on tv was during VH1s "Celeb-reality" phase where she was on "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab"
