Still - to my aunt; Elvis dies every August 16th and we all have to hear about it again.

This means that he, The King, is currently alive but his days are numbered as August quickly approaches. Sorry Elvis, shits goin' south real quick. Again.

In-the-Ground(hog) Day?  🙄🙄🙄

When Arafat died he had well over a billion dollars hidden away, and that's after he gave the PA and his friends probably about a couple billion more before he died.

I wonder how much this one stole, where it is, and who has access to it.

He died of happiness because Biden sent him and his buddies money and weapons.

Hopefully, it was in Bitcoin and the password is lost.

This reverse effect  happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I would have sworn on a stack of thirteen blue goatskin cover bibles that Kirk Douglas was still alive. I don't remember hearing dick about it. Nothing.  I find that kind of troublesome. Where the hell was I? Gilligan's Island? Off the grid with my toes in the sand, and a drink in my hand?

Even worse,  if I DID hear about it and then forgot about it, I find that absolutely fucking unnerving.    :-\
I remember hearing about Kirk passing on.  Maybe you were in a portal at the time.

On the evening of 16 August 1997, I was sitting in the St. Louis airport waiting for a connecting flight.  The PA system announced the arrival of a flight from Memphis at the gate just across from me.  With a few exceptions, everyone coming off that flight was either made up to look like Elvis, dressed like Elvis, or wore Elvis tshirts.  The best of the lot was a 250+ pound butch women in her 60s with perfect Elvis hair/sideburns, wraparound sunglasses, and wearing a circus tent size sequined jumpsuit.  As she got off the plane she was met by two equally large butch women who each presented her with a single red rose.  They all embraced and proceeded to sob loudly. I was deeply moved.
