Well, at 98, I can only imagine he went quickly. Better than wasting away in a hospital.

He got too close to the truth.

Or crossed Hilary, not sure which

Sounds like he got too close to the paint.
Are we having fun yet?

Paul Hellyer UFO related - Canadian minister of defense. Slipped on paint in his garage and hit his head.  ?

Guest on many shows including C2C with Art, and maybe George as well?  He also appeared on Caravan to Midnight with John B. Wells as well as other shows.  He may have been on with @DaveScottSOR of SOR.

I never figured out why anyone considered this gentleman to be an authority on UFOs.  He freely admitted he saw absolutely nothing about UFOs during his time as Canadian Defense Minister, and everything he knew came from reading Corso's delusional "Day After Roswell."  The last time I heard him on the radio was with Ian Punnett.  Unlike the Knapps of the world who throw guys like Hellyer softballs and cover for them, Ian challenged him early, then backed off and left him some dignity.

Because everyone knows from Hilly Rose that Bill Clinton lost the war with the space aliens and our last 335 UFOs are hidden beside a lake in Canada.  Hilly let that slip while filling in for Art in the late 90s.  This guy must have known.

I must be some kind of neanderfuck for not being aware of that.

Ironically, there was an Italian aero engineer who worked on a number of secret German projects in WWII who wrote a book in 1970 where he claimed "flying saucers" were based in the forests of British Columbia. He said the UFOs were British (captured German) craft being flown by the RAF over the US to thumb its nose at the Americans. Seems the Brits wanted the US to share the secrets of the atomic bomb with them, but the US claimed the UK nothing to trade. Turns out they did, the secret saucer craft the Brits found while the US and Russians were busy looking for rocket technology. Like many books on such topics, there was a degree of historical accuracy about German WWII aeronautical research and development.

30 years already! @Zetaspeak   Wow, my timeline is skewed.  I didn't realize it was that long ago.  It is a reminder of how old we're getting.  Night Court was one of my favorites.  And of course Markie became a young ShayP's TV crush going back to her days on The Fall Guy.

Did you see that there is going to be a continuation of the series?  Not sure how I feel about that.  John Larroquette is on board as the only returning cast member, reprising his role as Dan Fielding.  The premise is that the new Judge is the daughter of Judge Harry Stone.  She will be played by Melissa Rauch (the short blonde from The Big Bang Theory).

Yeah I don't know, I always wish for a TV Movie (or even a real movie) follow up but Harry and John L. got new shows really quickly. They did do a 30 Rock episode which was nice but they only got Harry, Christine and Mac (very strange that they were the three who left us first) As for the new show, it just doesn't feel right with 2 out of the 3 main actors not being with us.

BTW how is no streaming service have Night Court!

NC was on a subnetwork like MeTV or something. I watched it maybe 6-7 years ago, or so.
