My neighbor was buddies with Billy Hinsche going back to Dino & Desi. Introduced me over a decade ago. (The same friend introduced me to a few of the other Beach Boys as they would come through the area.)

Didn't know he was sick.

One of my fondest memories is playing a bit of Sail on Sailor with him in my neighbor's garage.

His sister was married to Carl Wilson.

Peter Aykroyd, Dan's brother...

The waitress in this clip sure looks like Phoebe from Friends...

Doug Jones, former MLB pitcher who was a joy to watch. He couldn't throw hard enough to break a plane of glass but had outstanding location and was a master of changing speeds.  Age 64 - COVID.

I remember him as an Astro. Reading that he paired up with Rod Beck in the Cubs bullpen seemed appropriate.

That is quite the mustache.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
