At the show in 2013 he was very 'gaunt' and his voice was shot. People were actually leaving the show and asking for a refund, but most stayed as we did. I remember feeling sort of bad for him coz he just didn't sound like himself at all. He looked easily 84 that night. Glad we went either way.

We saw Seinfeld at the same place a month later. My wife was tipsy and had on 6" heels (would have been about 6'7 with those things) and fell between the rows of seats as we were finding ours. House lights were on and it was quite the spectacle while sounds of Sinatra filled the place. Heh heh heh  She did it her way  ;D

Searching around for the Gordon Lightfoot schedule. I had been hearing radio ads for him...  His last concert was 10/30 in Winnipeg. December shows for SoCal were all postponed.  That must have been where I heard the ads.

Tons of reviews said it was pathetic and many said they requested a refund. If I'm a promoter, I'm not putting him on a Southern California stage.  The word of mouth would have been the end... Well, in a way, it was.
