Hey Walks, you ever read George Plimpton's book, "Mad Ducks and Bears?" It's about Plimpton's time with the Lions back while Schmidt was the head coach in Detroit.  The books centers around the antics of Lion teammates Alex Karras (Mad Duck) and John Gordy (Bear.)  Combine the lunacy of Karras and Gordy with the literary brilliance of Plimpton and you get the single funniest book I've ever read. The story about how those two guys got the distribution rights for a high class, German vibrating dildo is worth the price of the book alone.
These words strung together make zero sense to me.  :-\
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

After he retired from football, Alex Karras turned to Hollywood.  You may remember him and his wife from this TV show.

Karras is probably best known for this role.

Chad McQueen, 63

I was hoping he would reprise his role of Dutch on the Karate Kid spin-off, Cobra Kai.

"Never recovered from an accident in 2020." Presuming a car accident. He really took on his dad's image.

A really connected family... His son's Wikipedia page had a shitload of famous relatives...

Is it the Jackson 3 now or does Randy get counted?

I just saw a thumbnail for Professor of Rock on Stuck in the Middle with You... I decided to look up Gerry Rafferty's old songwriting partner Joe Egan... He just died a couple of months ago ??

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Egan_(musician)

Rafferty and Harry Nilsson both were so self-destructive. They were also really great songwriters.
