A baseball agent who was there before free agency.

It seems like a lot of big agents lived in San Diego.

Reminds me of the night JC called and accused the guest of being a lesbian because she held Tupperware parties.  She admitted it was true.

Mercury Morris has died, 77. As a kid, I remember being excited when he came to the Chargers. Must have been his name...

Actress Kathryn Grant/Crosby died last Friday at the age of 90. Perhaps her greatest role was that of Parisa, in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.

Kmart

Lately, I have been bitching and moaning to all my tech friends about how the closures of Fry's Electronics and Sears have negatively affected so many of my projects.

If I need something for a deadline-based project, I will order two or three or even more of the parts needed off of Amazon. 90% of their stuff is junk. There's a lot of counterfeit parts being sold there too...

Great actress, although I frequently confused her with Glenda Jackson.

A few people have died recently, big time basketball star and Coach, some TV celebrities, I think a movie star too.

This guy used to coach the San Diego Padres, his son was a catcher, I think for the Padres, Braves and Phillies if I remember correctly...

The beautiful, short-lived relationship between Janis Joplin and Kris Kristofferson

https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/janis-joplin-and-kris-kristofferson-relationship/

Kris Kristofferson first met Janis Joplin through their mutual friend and folk singer Bobby Neuwirth in the spring of 1970. At the suggestion of Neuwirth, after they played a show together in New York, Kristofferson accompanied him on a flight to Larkspur, California, to the home of Janis Joplin. What was intended to be a short trip ended up lasting several weeks, and whilst staying at her residence, Kristofferson and Joplin became increasingly drawn to each other.
