Kris Kristoffersonon - 88.

Never cared for his singing, but he was an incredible songwriter and a pretty decent actor.  A real talent.  He accomplished a lot before he was famous.

Brain cancer. Awful.

At 7' 5", Chuck Nevitt still lives so a giant still walks the Earth.

Before the era of travel teams and all that crap, I participated in a thing called the San Diego School of Baseball. I spent quite a few batting cage sessions with a kid named Petey. He was otherwise known as Pete Rose Jr. I didn't see Pete Senior then.

Pete Rose was very kind to a childhood acquaintance of mine who had leukemia. I came maybe 200 feet away from him.

Once a user, always a user.

Great actress, although I frequently confused her with Glenda Jackson.

I was at the theatre on the night this was announced and everyone got up and applauded. I think she was what is known as a 'character'. AKA - total bitch.
