Gene Hackman died. 95 years old. They found him, his 60-something wife and their dog all dead. No foul Play, probably carbon monoxide then, right?

Santa Fe New Mexico police are saying it's not suspicious...

I read an article, they've been together for something like 40 years. She's 63 now. Maybe, just maybe, he passed and she and the dog died of poisoning.

May-December marriages end up in a lot more suicides and depression once the older spouse dies than one would expect. A lot of these girls that marry that old are looking for a father figure. When daddy dies....

Maybe the wife had a heart attack, then a bed ridden Hackman and dog died of thirst/starvation?   Pretty horrible scenario.

Once read that Hackman was a Marine in China after the war where they helped evacuate hundreds of thousands of Japanese before the Chinese got them.  Probably a pretty interesting experience with Mao and Chaing going at it.

After the initial police announcements that it wasn't suspicious that Gene Hackman, his wife and one of their dogs had died. It appears that now it is being considered suspicious.

What I have heard so far is that is they were dead for a while, a door was left open and two dogs survived.

There were pills scattered where his wife was found. Now, his death might have led to her committing suicide or??? Both were showing signs of mummification. How long does that take? Maybe the heat was on in the house or something. Cops were saying that the front door was ajar. Of course, how did they get discovered?

Someone who described himself as a neighborhood caretaker called 911 and said he could see them through the window and they weren’t moving.

Hackman once explained his creative approach by saying, “Each scene, I look for something not written down.”

This Gene Hackman thing has turned into a mess. It'll be interesting to see what that prescription medicine was that they found spilled all over the place.

If it were a cold and flu medicine, that might indicate carbon monoxide... Strangely, they've been releasing really bad information like the gas company saying that they didn't find any leaks has nothing to do with carbon monoxide.

I think the investigation is probably not going to be very good. They're not good law enforcement out there, they screwed up the Rust movie set shooting a couple years back.

Reports are out just now that the carbon monoxide test results are negative for both Hackman and his wife.

I saw a report saying his pacemaker had its last incident on February 17th. I didn't know pacemakers were so smart. I should have presumed so. I wonder if they're capable of being Wi-Fi hotspots too.
🙄🙄🙄

Too soon?

Our local pawn shop/gun shop always carried a nice selection of pocket size pistols they marketed as "onion Field insurance."

Wasn't really a fan of Poindexter but the Dolls were a pretty good band.
