My new Rubicon doesn't quite fit in some of the places I go. Bike works nice and it's just one more thing that keeps my NFL ass in perfect shape. You should get off your Sperm Whale shaped arse and try it OOT!

I wonder how often Falkie and Kathy ride their bikes

You are only required to read and contemplate them, enjoying and responding is optional.

Well, here's a TELL.

Betty, my 5'5-inch-long Ball Python passed away overnight and was found dead this morning in her enclosure by my estranged-ish wife. She, Betty, was 25 yrs old. She had a fantastic life, best of which was 2009 through 2020 while I had her. Do you mourn a snake or reptile as you would a dog or cat? Feels almost the same.

...Fuck  ::)

Snakes and other reptiles, to me, aren't affectionate like other pets.  But if you care for an animal, of course it feels the same. @KSM  My wife (ex) and I used to have pet rats.  It saddened me when they died.  They were fun little critters.  I wouldn't have wanted Betty to meet them though.

So sorry to hear about Betty. She was a beautiful creature and part of the family. She had a great 25 years. Of course you are saddened by her loss but celebrate her long and happy life

Makes no difference what type of pet because if you love them, you will mourn them when they pass.  No getting around that it hurts like hell, even, in some cases, when you know it's coming.  Sorry for your loss, KSM.

Well, sure.  Why not?  Whether Betty was a snake or a dog only matters in the sense that other people can relate to your loss.  Not how you feel.

The fact is, that she meant enough to you for it to hurt as much as it does.  She mattered, and her life with you mattered.  There isn't any further justification that you need for hurting about losing her.

Nice things said, and good points made.

But I tell you this! If I ever have a pet snail and he dies? I'll be warming up some garlic butter!  "Ben was reeaal good" His name would be Ben.

I have reason to believe the snake was poisoned by a boytoy named Otto!
